Religion News Service: How World Vision's brief affirmation a decade ago changed LBGTQ Christians' journeys

I share how that specific event became the catalyst for my own coming out and the subsequent professional "exodus" from evangelical spaces. It’s a reflection on the high cost of silence, the professional repercussions of choosing honesty over nondisclosure agreements, and how that pivotal moment eventually led me to help co-found Church Clarity to help others find the affirming communities they deserve.
